Bio

I am a music composer, performer, and recording artist. My main instrument in the cello, both acoustic and electric. I also play acoustic, electric, and bass guitars. I love, compose, record, and perform all kinds of music, ranging from classical to rock metal.

I took up the cello in the 4th grade, encouraged by an amazing school orchestra teacher. I joined the Albuquerque Youth Symphony programs while in the 6th grade throughout high school, and we performed at the National Theater in Costa Rica and Carnegie Hall in New York City. I completed high school at the New Mexico School for the Arts in Santa Fe. Winning the Jackie McGehee Young Artist's Competition led to solo performances with The New Mexico Philharmonic. In 2016, I performed Popper's Hungarian Rhapsody and in 2017 performed Tchaikovsky's Rocco Variations with The Phil. During my senior year of high school I was the Artist Apprentice with Santa Fe's Pro Musica orchestra.

With these foundations, I attended the Oberlin Conservatory, majoring in cello, under the direction of Amir Eldan. Since then, I have played with the Santa Fe Symphony and the Roswell Symphony Orchestra. I perform my own music at venues throughout the Albuquerque area.
